our mission

Tony graduated from California State University, Northridge in June 1988 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and immediately joined the accounting firm Grobstein, Horwath & Co. During his tenure at the firm, Tony obtained his CPA license and rose quickly within the ranks achieving Partner status within 10 years. 

In 2003, Tony started his own CPA practice. Around that same time, he and his wife opened several locations of a franchise which they owned and operated, built-up, then sold. Unlike many of his accounting colleagues, Tony’s hands-on experience in running a small business (outside of the accounting field) makes him an invaluable advisor in your corner.  He understands first hand the hard work and dedication needed to run a successful business.

Tony’s core values of honesty and integrity are the backbone of his long career. He has worked as an external CFO for a large international apparel manufacturer. Managing cash flow, generating financial statements, securing financial lending and factoring, and supervising the accounting department were just some of his responsibilities. Tony was directly involved with the licensing agreements for the sales of products internationally.

He values the relationships he establishes with his clients and strives to help them succeed. Tony believes in rolling up his sleeves and working hard to help those around him. He regularly volunteers in the community and has been a board member/treasurer for several non-profit organizations over the years. Tony is actively serving in various leadership roles at the church where he and his family attend, and he is committed to serving monthly at a local community outreached.

When Tony is not preparing a tax return, consulting with a client on their strategic business development or calling the IRS on his client’s behalf…you can find him traveling, mountain biking, working out, and cooking for his family and friends. He is also a big soccer fan!
